Joel Weber Knopf is a composer/lyricist whose music has been featured on NPR’s The Uncertain Hour podcast and the Emotion Motion podcast for kids. His original shows The Last Ibex, Unadmissions: A Law School Musical and God and Xylophones have been performed at new works events in California and NYC. Recently the head of content at Move This World, Joel has taught music with New York City Guitar School, ran early childhood music classes with Jam with Jamie, and worked as a teaching artist with City Center Theater Company and Wingspan Arts. Before coming to New York, Joel served as music director for Agile Rascal Bicycle Touring Theater, composing music for a new environmentally themed show created as Artists-in-Residence in the Everglades. Joel's EP of children's songs is available on Bandcamp and his writing has been published in The Awakenings Review and Frankenstein’s Review. @joelknopf
