Regina Gibson

Regina is a professional actor, writer, and teaching artist based in New York City. As an actor she has performed with the National Yiddish Opera Folksbiene, ArsNova, Metropolitan Playhouse, and TheatreWorksUSA, as well as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Tennessee Williams Festival in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She stars as Amelia in her original comedy series, Honestly, Amelia which she also edits and produces. She has performed and edited in several music videos and comedy sketches and is currently in production of a new musical music video based on singer Sophie Tucker. As a teaching artist, for the past ten years she has taught acting, commedia de’lle arte, clowning, filmmaking, puppetry, and movement at The Secret Theater, Unity Stages, The Green Room, and Shadowbox Theater. She also directed the NYU III Movement Projects at NYU TISCH Stella Adler and is currently directing a production of Shrek Jr. at Unity Stages, as well as directing the final short films for students involved in the Creative Muse program.
